Jeanne Ferrell, 85, of Corvallis died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and caregivers, at Lydia’s House in Albany, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Ferrell; her children Paul Rieck (Julie), Ellen Tappon (John, Ted Wilson) and John Rieck (Vicki); stepchildren Kathy Bubb (Val), Tom Ferrell (Suzanne) and Steve Ferrell; grandchildren Jeremy, Alison and Jessica Rieck, Sarah and Paul Tappon, and Carter and Warren Ferrell; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by Fred Rieck, Allana Hulshof (sister), and her parents and grandparents.
A celebration of life will take place at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mennonite Village Foundation for the Jean Ferrell Lydia’s House Residents Fund.
